Chocolate Rice Krispie Treats
The classic kid’s treat is an adult favorite! This recipe is as simple as it gets.
What you need:
- Rice Krispies -6 Cups
- Marshmallows 1 bag
- Favorite Cannabis Butter 3-4 Tbls
- 11×9 or 9×9 baking dish or pan
- Non-stick baking spray or extra Cannabis butter (I use this)
- Spray baking dish with non-stick baking oil or grease pan with butter
- In large pot or pan, melt 3-4 Tablespoons of cannabis butter on low heat
- Once melted add marshmallows, stir until soft or melted then remove from heat
- Working quickly, gradually add 6 cups of Rice Krispies covering them with marshmallow.
- Spoon mixture into Pyrex dish or metal tin then firmly compress into corners.
- Let treats cool about 1 hr then slice into squares. Enjoy!
Your level of high will depend on the THC levels of the cannabis in your butter and the amount of butter used in the recipe. For richer treats you can add canna chocolate (Cannabis infused chocolate) or non-infused chocolate. The effect will also depend on an empty or full stomach.
* I typically eat 1/2 square on an empty stomach. Within 20-30 minutes the I can start to feel the effects. They usually last about 2 hrs. *
